Our daughter is going to the World with her high school band. She will be responsible for her own lunches. Whenever we went as a family, we were on the dining plan and we tried to get the most for each meal. We haven't really even paid attention to prices while on the plan. What are the best Quick Service restaurants for an inexpensive meal or one that can be shared?

MK - Columbia Harbour House has awesome fish baskets as well as chicken! Many a time I have shared the Fish or shrimp basket with a friend
Cosmic Ray's has a 1/2 rotisserie chicken and rib meals as well as other offerings that could certainly be shared
Liberty Square market offers large sandwiches, soup and my favorite a large baked potato that are all very filling

Epcot - Tangierine Café has to have some of the best platters available in any of the parks, the portions are enough to share
Sunshine Seasons is known for having some of the best meals offered at any CS and the portion sizes are also quite large
Yorkshire Fish and Chips fish and chip basket is easily enough food to feed two people

DHS - Studio Catering Co. make really great sandwichs, wraps etc etc

DAK - Pizzafari makes pretty big pizzas that can hold over even the biggest of appetites
Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes give large portions that can be shared with 2 or more people

DS - Cookes of Dublin has chicken, fish baskets as well as pies and sandwich's that can feed two
Earl of Sandwich makes awesome sandwiches that would be hard to share with someone since they are so good and the price can't be beat
Wolfgang Pucks Express also has great food served in large portions that I have not been able to finish on my own

Of all the places you mentioned we have only been to Columbia Harbor House and Earl of Sandwich. We planned on checking out Tangerine Café next time we went, but she will beat us to the punch. Thanks for the suggestions and keep them coming.

- Rays Starlight Cafe - Chicken & Rib Combo can be shared by 2, maybe 3 - About $16
- Liberty Square Market - Baked or Sweet potato for less than $4 bucks - filling snack that doubles as meal

DHS
- Starring Rolls - giant sandwiches feed 2 and multiple cupcakes, breads, sweet rolls - Sandwiches about $9
- Min and Bill's Diner - Mac & Cheese with Buffalo Chicken or BBQ Toppings Under $10

Epcot
- Via Napoli - While this will be expensive and tough to get a ressie, 4 to 6 people could easily share a Mezza Metro (probably spelled wrong) Pizza - Godzilla sized pizza for about $40
- Club Cool - this is not a food joint, but it does have around 10 flavors of Coca-Cola products that anyone can sample, as much as they want, for free....if no one in your daughter's band is aware of this place, and her leads her party there, she will get a star for the tip...

Didn't include the drink with any of the above, generally just under $3 for a soda

Columbia Harbour House also has (not on menu) a Fish and Shrimp combo! I agree with the Liberty Square Market Baked Potato....it was once a little known secret that is beginning to be well known!

Thanks for the prices. It saves me the trip to another site to check the menus. She will need to do all quick services, probably not going to Downtown Disney either, and not make ADRs though.

For MK, I agree on Columbia Harbor House. However, whenever I'm with groups of friends I for some reason have a hard time getting everyone to agree to go there - probably because of the heavy seafood focus on the menu. If she runs into that problem and needs something easier to just grab and go, my favorite thing right now in the park is the waffle fry menu at the Golden Outpost. They have four different waffle fry dishes with a hefty assortment of different toppings - more than enough to fill me up - and it comes with a side of apple slices or carrots. They ring in at $8. Here's a link to pictures and descriptions of them: http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2014/...-debuts-at-magic-kingdoms-golden-oak-outpost/ (Note: the price is now $8 instead of the $6 shown in the pictures)

At Epcot, the fish and chips are Yorkshire Cafe are great, and they only run you $9.50.
I also love La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico pavilion. They have three beef or three chicken tacos that come with chips and it's a lot of food, and they come to $12.50.

Also, if she asks for a glass of ice water anywhere in the parks they will give it to her for free, versus the outrageous prices they charge for drinks.

Note that the Golden Oak Outpost is "open seasonally" (which can be interpreted "whenever we want", LOL) and may not be an option. It was closed on our trip last week and also in November.

Keep in mind that you should be able to order an entree without the side. So burger with no fries for example. Doesn't help with the sharing aspect, but knocks a buck or two off the meal price. Not the posted price of the side, but it's better than paying for something you don't want to eat if they don't like/need fries/salad/whatever.

Definitely at Cosmic's, get the rib or chicken to share, then make a "salad" from the bar, that would be the bang for the buck!
