Best Live Action Show

What is the best live action show? Why?

Cirque Du Soleil is the best show at Disney to me. My favorite part (they are all great) is the little girls.

The Lion King is amazing. The energy in that room is awesome especially when the acrobats are running around at full speed.

I have not seen Cirque yet, but I do not think it really fits with all the other Disney produced shows listed.

Lion King is tops. Cirque may be a better show (I've not had the spare cash to see it) but as a show with a separate admission it's an unfair comparison.

Of the shows in the Parks Lion King is the winner.

At WDW? I'd have to go with Festival of the Lion King....
At any theme park? Disney's Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular at Disney's California Adventure...

Lion King can't be beat.

But I have to agree, you can't really coun't cirque since its a whole diffrent thing.

I'm another for Lion King. You can't get that close to broadway without actually going there. It's my favorite stage show at WDW!

I say Beauty and the Beast, because it feels like a real broadway show when you are watching and it's a classic.

I really like Tarzan Rocks, but not as much as Lion King

Haven't seen Tarzan Rocks - not appealing to me.

Best there? Definitely Cirque du Soliel. Although it isn't necessarily a "Disney" show.

The now defunct 'Hunchback' show at MGM was always my favourite. The slick melding of puppets live actors, music, acting and singing approached Broadway standard.

I too liked the design of this show. It was the best of the Readers Digest versions of films :lol: The warm up act of the juggler was brilliant.

My wife however prefers 'Beauty and the Beast'. She particularly likes the warm up act (?) 'Four Quarters and/in (?) a Dollar'. And has been known to watch them and leave before the main show. Mind you she has seen B&theB AT LEAST 20 times - I am not kidding.

Festival of the Lion King

Another vote for Festival of the Lion King. This is definitely my family's favorite as we have to see it at least twice every time we go. I love the energy in the finale.

I love Tarzan Rocks - the energy is so great with those guys- and it is always a wonderful show! I also love the Lion King and Beauty & The Beast too!

Not quite sure Fantasmic fits in the category, although, portions of it are live action. If we were voting for best show period it would definitely be Fantasmic for me also, hands down.

I love Cirque. I'll be at La Nouba in 6 days. :sohappy: But our flight leaves in 3 hours and 44 minutes. I am so EXCITED. :wave: :kiss: :sohappy:
