Yeah I thought we were just talking about the castle parks, cause despite its deficiencies, the Paris park is just so so gorgeous compared to literally all of the others. Combined together it just has a strong, unified point of view and comes off like the Disneyland that should've been.
But by god, is Tokyo hot on their heels. The expanded fantasyland and the upcoming Tomorrowland upgrade is gonna add a lot to it. If they take the opportunity to also upgrade their main street to be a proper canopy-free one, it might just clinch the crown.
Hong Kong, with its new castle and upcoming Frozen area is also really nice but the layout is a mess (maybe if they get rid of that god-awful Toy Story land and replaced it with something more immersive?).
The same could be said of Shanghai, which is also just too big and gaudy, it doesn't feel like a unified "Disneyland" it leaned too hard on realism but like, these places don't exist in real life, you know? Tha fantasy is gone.
Although, if we're talking about resorts in general, Tokyo has them all by a wide, wide mile. I'll take it over either of the US resorts as well.
