It’s 100% Tokyo. DisneySea is by itself a top 5 Disney Park, and Tokyo Disneyland is also great. Combined they make up what is the third-best Disney resort overall and by far the best foreign one.

Yeah I thought we were just talking about the castle parks, cause despite its deficiencies, the Paris park is just so so gorgeous compared to literally all of the others. Combined together it just has a strong, unified point of view and comes off like the Disneyland that should've been.

But by god, is Tokyo hot on their heels. The expanded fantasyland and the upcoming Tomorrowland upgrade is gonna add a lot to it. If they take the opportunity to also upgrade their main street to be a proper canopy-free one, it might just clinch the crown.

Hong Kong, with its new castle and upcoming Frozen area is also really nice but the layout is a mess (maybe if they get rid of that god-awful Toy Story land and replaced it with something more immersive?).

The same could be said of Shanghai, which is also just too big and gaudy, it doesn't feel like a unified "Disneyland" it leaned too hard on realism but like, these places don't exist in real life, you know? Tha fantasy is gone.

Although, if we're talking about resorts in general, Tokyo has them all by a wide, wide mile. I'll take it over either of the US resorts as well.

Very hard to say as I've never been to any apart from WDW and Disneyland Paris. I've watched videos of all resorts and would probably say Tokyo is the one that I'd be most inclined to go to out of them all.

I probably would have said Disneyland Paris if it had a better second gate than the current Walt Disbey Studios. I actually think the second park hinders the resort and takes it from a solid 8/9 out of 10 to a solid 7. I do have a big soft spot for DLP however, and have been 4 times (2002, 2004, 2006 and 2019) - it really is a beautiful park and a great way to spend 3 days. Perhaps once the Studios is more established and the third park (hopefully) gets built and is done well, we could review again and DLP gets the kudos she deserves at last.

Unfortunately, I don't think it could hold a flame to TDL and its incredible second gate DisneySea. Just watching the walkthroughs on YouTube you can see it is perhaps one of the main jewels in the crown of Disney.
