One of our daughter's has a birthday on the 4th of July. We are thinking of taking our vacation to WDW that week. I am trying to decide which park we want to be in on the 4th. Which park do you think has the best 4th of July fireworks?

In my opinion, EPCOT has the best show and tag. However, the MK will debut a new version of their 4th show this year. It is always shown on both the 3rd and 4th but a third date may be added as well. All MK 4th shows include the 360 perimeter effect. You don't even have to be in the park to fully enjoy the show! The Poly provides great views.

If you have the time, I would view MK's show on the 3rd (or 2nd if a third date is added) and got to EPCOT for the 4th as they only present their tag once.

Thanks!! Our favorite firework show is Illuminations so I figured that their 4th of July show would be great. It's good to know that we can see the MK 4th of July show on the 3rd.

We went 5 or 6 years in a row for the 4th of July. We went with big groups and just the 4 in my family. We found the best place to watch the fireworks was at the Polynesian. We grabbed chairs early, by a couple hours and placed them right on the beach just outside the concierge building with the lounge which is right next to the volcano pool. The kids played in the pool for a until dark and then we all sat there for the fireworks. There is a speaker for all the music which plays just outside the concierge lounge there. It actually has a better view than many places in Magic Kingdom. Good Luck.

Now by far the best 4th of July Fireworks are the Magic Kingdoms. I also think that thay are much better from the Poly than in the park. I viewed them from the hub and think the perimeter shells look much better from the beach and there are alot .....did I say alot of less people. Here is a picture from a couple years ago.

On our last trip there for the 4th we decided to go to MGM to see their fireworks since it is the only time of the year to see fireworks above the Chinease Theater as was done nightly before Fantasmic. Now these werent the best on property but they were certianly good. After they were over we walked from MGM through the Boardwalk to Epcot and were there in plenty of time to see the their fireworks on the 4th.
