Best Downtown Disney hotel for 2 nights???

We are arriving 2 days before our 8 day stay at the Wilderness Lodge. We are going to do some house hunting in the area and want to stay 2 nights in a Downtown Disney hotel. Any suggestions on a nice hotel? We are looking for clean, updated, nice pool and walking distance to Downtown Disney. Also a relatively low price? I saw a couple for under $100 a night...I just would love some feedback! Thanks

Hotel Royal Plaza. Go to mousesavers.com and click on Walt Disney world, the preferred offsite hotels, click royal plaza, the click get rates. I got a room for saturday for 71 bucks.
