I think they are all great rides, but if I had to pick one I would pcik Big Thunder because it's a wooden roller coaster and there are not many of those around.

This is too hard a question, really. I'm torn between Space Mountain, Tower of Terror, and Rock n' Roller Coaster. But I think I may have to give the edge to Space Mountain, probably more for sentimental reasons than anything else. Big Thunder Mountain has gotten too weak for me, not that I dislike the ride altogether.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Big Thunder Mt. RR is NOT a wooden coaster. As a matter of fact, Disney has no wooden roller coasters. But I still Love that Ride Anyway!!! :)

There are not many wooden coasters in Florida...perhaps the problem is that unlike steel coasters, when wooden coasters are struck by lightning...it can be bad...and the upkeep with all the rain must be horrible. Leave it to Busch Gardens to build one...(Gwazi)

I'd imagine the humidity and rain isn't the greatest thing for the wood. Like you said, the upkeep is probably pretty bad.

Hmm...they have built a few wooden coasters down here lately..the newest of which being the Dania Beach Hurricane (which is a title that tempts fate)...the humidty doesnt really make the ride unsafe....i just think most places build steel coasters because they are more "attractive" to the majority of thrill seekers.

hmmm....I like wooden coasters:) ...and, I mean...they build them like steel coasters now...Son of Beast is 200 feet tall and has an inversion...granted I found this ride extremely painful, it's still intimidating...

They can build steel roller coasters that are the biggest, fastest, and have the most loops, but there is nothing like a good old wooden roller coaster. Any true roller coaster fan knows wooden roller coasters are the best.

Im a coaster addict...and I prefer Steele..only because the safety factor. I have nothing against woodens at all..I enjoy quite a few of them..but I like the secure feeling I get strapped down onto a peice of cold metal....

Ah come on... that's what makes wooden roller coasters fun! The fact that there is actually a degree of danger in riding them. :hammer:
