Best Dinner Show?

Whats your favorite dinner show? I'd like to hear a few suggestions. I've only been to the Spirit of Aloha dinner and I would say that was pretty mediocre.

I enjoyed Spirit of Aloha show and also Hoop De Doo. Ive never done the backyard BBQ. I do think the Aloha show was better before ther redid it and added the part of whats her name coming back home. The Hoop De Doo has not changed since it opened I think...well other than the cast, and actually I read somewhere that its is the oldest continious running dinner show in the US.

Hoop dee is absolutely fabulous! It has changed and my famiy has been watching it since 1986. We see it every time we visit. I took my DH to see it 7 years ago, and now it's a must do for our trips. The food is excellent and plentiful, the waiters wonderful, and the show is so much fun. If you like true corny americana, you will love this show. Have fun!

Hoop-Dee-Doo was great, what even made it greater especially for my kids is that I was picked to be Davy Crocketts Angel.

That is the only one that we have done and I would recommend it.

We are thinking about Spirit of Aloha this year when we go, but may rethink it based on some of the comments. Then again may try it just to say we have done it.

Mickey's Backyard BBQ is ok. The food is good and all the beer and wine, but you sit at picknic table and the seating is first come first serve. So that means if you are not there and in line early it may be difficult getting seating for a large group together.

Hoop De Doo Review is really good. The entertainment in great and the food is good. Transportation to there can be the worst part of this show, however they typically have resort busses waiting for when the show is over which is nice.

Poly Luau is also really good. The entertainment is not quite as good as HDDR, but the food is better IMHO. Transportation for the early show is easy with the TTC and MK right there, but for the late show on nights that MK closes early it can be slightly difficult.

Hope my info helps.

My sons (5&7) loved HDDR. Found Mickey's BBQ to be one big shoving fest to get autographs. Probably will try Luau this August, just to try something different.

Book an 8pm dinner at the Rose & Crown Pub - there can scarcely be a better dinner show than Illuminations! We have done it for the past few trips, and it is just spectacular! Our favourite way to end a day at Epcot.

Plus, it is the only dinner show where you can get a Black & Tan.
