Best Dining Plan Snacks?

Just wondering what snacks people enjoy that are included with the dining plan.

I tend to get the same things over and over - Mickey Premium Bar, bottled water, frozen lemonade

Just a note - and please no name-calling, swearing, or death threats - but I don't like Dole Whips. I do like chocolate...a lot!

I was wondering if any of the goodies at Starring Rolls are considered a "snack" or if it is all quick service.

Pop has the best snack options (worked there for a bit so I should be able to name them all)

Ice cream sundae (3 scoops any toppings you want)
Apple crisp (a la mode or a la carte)
Fries/ Cheese Fries/ Chili Cheese Fries
Potato Chips from the "Deli" (wonderful)
Garlic Bread with Marinara Sauce
Nachos with Cheese
TyeDye Cheesecake
Oreo Cupcakes (vanilla icing on either vanilla or chocolate cupcake with two oreos)
As well as your standard pops, water, milk, fruit salads, carrots with dip, chocolate cake, cheesecakes, pastries (croissants, freshly baked cookies)

I like to use them at the main st bakery. There are many items to choose from including the cin.roll. I believe the same goes for starring rolls.

My husband LOVES school bread from Norway - it's like a custardy filled donut with icing and coconut. I don't like coconut so I've never had it but it's a must eat for him on every trip (I have to thank Master Yoda for the tip on that!!).

I really like the frozen bananas - I've had them at MK near the Country Bears Jamboree and at HS near the entrance to the Animation Courtyard - it's a real banana, frozen and dipped in chocolate then rolled in nuts. YUMMY and healthy because it's fruit...right? :lookaroun

ohhh...excellent suggestions. I do love cinnamon rolls and I'd like to try the frozen banana, dipped in chocolate (*drool*) and nuts (*drooooool*)

Now if anyone can confirm if the peanut butter cupcake that I saw pictured in the photo thread is considered a "snack" I will be in heaven!

I still need to get that stuffed pretzel & school bread! For me, it's a good 'ol fashioned funnel cake. I had no idea they were included in the dining plan. I also like the fruit cup or whatever it's called @ Starring rolls. It is quite good.

Frozen Lemonade is awesome as well and of course, Mickey Bars.

Cherry Turnover (Main Street Bakery - though, they have a ton of stuff I like)

Popcorn (lame, I know - but, the wife likes to have it at the parades/fireworks)

Roasted Nuts (if it's 'winter' time)

Pretzel (Germany/Norway in Epcot)

Finally, go to the Boulangerie Patisserie (Bakery in France - Epcot) to find something you'll like. They've got your chocolate options there.

We use them for the frozen cokes throughout the parks and for the shaved ice treats in Japan at Epcot. Love those, but I can't remember the official name:ROFLOL:

Our fav's are Red Velvet and Butterfinger cupcakes and the fruit tarts at Starring Rolls. Main Street Bakery we like the cinnamon rolls and the HUGE ice cream sandwiches made from two fresh baked cookies of your choice. Also the Main Street ice cream shop...mint choc chip cone!! In Frontierland and in Fantasy land theirs carts that sell the roasted cinnamon and sugared nuts. Ak we like the egg roll and chicken fried rice from Yak and Yeti QS. Also the pretzels mentioned before that are on the cart right near the Safari. Epcot, anything from the patisserie. :slurp:

I also forgot Goofy's Candy Company in DTD. The cookies there are collosal, fresh baked and different than any others you'll find in the parks!

We like the funnel cakes in the MK. I can't remember the name of the shop that sells them, but it's in Liberty Square close to the Hall of Presidents. They are awesome with the powdered sugar on top. It will remind you a little of beniets at Cafe DuMonde in NOLA.

My absolute favorite is the carrot cake cookie @ DHS Writer's Stop and Peanut butter cupcake at Boardwalk Bakery (it's huge and almost a meal). I'll also second the school bread @ Kringla Bakery in Norway, and the jalapeno-cheese stuffed pretzel from the kiosk before the bridge from Discovery Island to Asia (look to the right-side). If you dig the pretzel thing, also the sweet cream cheese-stuffed pretzel at the Lunching Pad @ MK is great too!

Now I'm hungry too.

Oh there are so many. I suppose my very favourite is the much praised strawberry shortcake from Sunshine Seasons, but there are lots of alternatives, eg

Safari fries from Anandapur Local Cafe
HaganDaz Vanilla and Almonds Ice Cream Bar
Eclair from Boulangerie Patisserie
Ice cream cookie sandwich Main Street
Fruit tart from Starring Rolls

I do wish Disney sold good chips, I really don't like those on sale all over the food courts and parks, I prefered the good old Lays from days gone by.
