Best days to visit US?

We are going back to WDW in October (our favorite time to go). Being TOTAL Disney freaks, we do not go to other parks very often, and have only been to Universal only twice. I really don't have a take on what is the best/worst days to visit and I am beginning to plan our park itenerary. Any suggestions on what day to go? We are only going to the studios this time, and not IOA, and for just a one day visit.

Hey David....I've been to Universal every day of the week and at different times of the day. It always seems to be busy when I'm there. Since you are coming in October, I would think any day during the week (Tues-Thurs) would be fine since the kiddies are back in school for the most part and vacations are over. Make sure you check out ROTM (if it's running)...it's a cool ride.

Sunday is the least-busiest day, from what I've heard and seen....Yesterday when I was there, ROTM never had a wait time above 45 minutes.....

Thanks for the replies. Right now, we are set to go on Saturday, and I know that most parks are busiest on the weekends---and the weekend we well be there is the weekend leading up to Columbus Day on the 11th, so there may be larger crowds than usual. Going on a Saturday may be a mistake, but schedule-wise, it's about the besttime for us to go.
