Best days to visit each park?

Now that Disney has abandoned early entry mornings for on-site guests, which days are the least crowded for each park? I am coming in late April with a 2 year old, and want to visit each park on less crowded days (of course!). Is there a new traffic pattern now that early entry is gone?

Light parade

What is the light parade called? I check the Disney World web site to see the schedule of parades and fireworks, and the only parade I see listed at all is the Share A Dream Come True at 3pm. We arrive 4/27 and are staying 8 nights and I am really hoping that at least during one of those days there is an evening parade! And the Fantasy fireworks are only on Monday night, which seems odd. Why would the MK be open so late on a Monday? (April 29)?

When I worked there, Epcot was more crowded on Tuesady and Wednesday.

I would avoid MK on saturday during the day, but would be there for the night parade. ;)

they're schedule is obviously not complete for the end of April yet. I would guess those hours will all change. The will most likely play SpectroMagic one of the weekends you are there...can't miss it if they do...it's my favorite parade of all-time :)

Since we had reservations at Cinderellas Castle for Monday morning we thought we could just stay there for the day. Is Monday an ok day for MK? All of the books I have says to stay away on Monday, but that was during EE days.

EE basically was the guide in the past, but some things remain the same (even with EE gone):

MK: Best days - Tue, Wed & Sun
MK: Worst days - Mon & Sat

Ep: Best Days - Mon, Thu Note: Sat is basically crowded at all parks, but Epcot is generally a good choice for Saturday
EP: Worst Days - Wed, Fri

Studios: Best Days - Mon & Tue
Studios: Worst Days - Sat & Sun

AK is still hard to figure out. The weekends are a little less crowded here than at other parks, the early part of the week (Mon & Tue) is generally more heavy than Wed & Thu

Our park choices for a full week:

Mon - Studios
Tue - MK
Wed - AK
Thu - Epcot
Fri - Studios
Sat - Epcot
Sun - MK

Of course (in reality) we do a ton of hopping. Normally to catch certain events and shows.

Thanks, everyone! This is really helpful. We expect to do some hopping too, but with a little one I want to stay away from the most crowded places.
