I'm going down to WDW for christmas with my family this year. And I;m planning the trip and was wondering what is the best place to eat dinner on christmas day is. Thanks in advance for all of the info.

Just about everybody has a traditional Christmas dinner- with their own special twist. I guess it all comes down to what your favorite restaurant dinner is. Personally, I would love to try the Liberty Tree Tavern...just love the atmosphere. Here is a look to last year's offerings, I would imagine it doesn't really change to much from year to year.

Be sure to make advanced reservations 180 days before Xmas or your choices maybe limited. I made plans for our stay during Thanksgiving week almost exactly 180 days prior to our stay and got all the times and places I wanted. I called back the next week to change a few to different times and nothing earlier than 9:00 pm was available. Have a great holiday...BTW we picked Artist's Point for Thanksgiving based on last year's menu.

Word to the wise book at 4 or 5.A few years back we had x-mas dinner at the grand floridian and we got seated two and a half hours after our 7 pm reservation. It was a nightmare with last call food and closing clean-up crews with the place emptying out to the point we were the 2nd to last to leave. The only other families staying where large families who wanted to talk. The only upside was we got to see tigger, piglet and Pooh Bear

I'd have to recommend the LIBERTY TREE TAVERN at the Magic Kingdom, as well!

I can't imagine eating anywhere else at WDW on Christmas Day.

The food and atmosphere of the place is GREAT, and the location can't be beat! It keeps you right in the park and in the middle of the all the Holiday action!

Also, it's right around the corner from the Christmas Shoppe, and probably noone will be in there shopping that day! :lookaroun

It's really the only place I'd have Christmas dinner if I couldn't be home!

ENJOY!!!

:xmas:
