We want to end our trip with a character breakfast.. We have 3 kids: ages 17, 8 and 3.. Any ideas? I was thinking Chef Mickey, but I really have no clue :) Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks so much :)

I'm assuming, perhaps incorrectly, that you will be spending the day after breakfast in MK?
'Cuz for my money, the very best character breakfast is Tusker House in AK! And #2 of my top ten is Cape May at Yacht Club resort, prior to visiting Epcot...
And rounding out at #3 is Garden Grill with Chip and Dale in Epcot.
For MK, I would pick either Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends, or 1900 Park Faire at GF, then hop the boat or monorail to MK.
I find Chef Mickey's to be overcrowded, with poor character interaction, just because it's so crowded. And the food is not all that either...
Hope this helps!

Tusker house is one of my favorite places to eat in WDW.

For me since you added that you will not have Park Tickets then I would choose 1900 Park Fare at GF. Two Words: Strawberry Soup. Also you get Breakfast with some Character as you wanted. I do love Chef Mickey's and we are doing it out last day, but that is only because we have two meals at GF already

Depends on what you're doing after breakfast.

Parks - 1st = Crystal Palace and 2nd = Tusker House
Resorts - 1st = Cafe Cape May and 2nd = 1900 Park Fare

Our overall favourite = Crystal Palace

Our b'fast must-dos are Chef Mickey's and The Crystal Palace. The Crystal Palace has to be the prettiest building on property and its location is wonderful. Chef Mickey's is fun and with the monorail shooting overhead, you are really in the middle of the magic.
In the past The Crystal Palace had the best food. For the last 2 years, Chef Mickey's was better. We'll be at both in 18 weeks. Woo hoo!

We liked the food and characters best at Askerus and Chef Mickey. Crystal palace was just ok for us, more so if you really like the winnie the pooh characters and it's fun getting into the park early. Haven't done Ohana's for breakfast.

Since you will not be going to any parks, most of the suggestions listed above are out of the question. For character breakfasts outside of the parks, these are your options:

  • 1900 Park Fare
  • 'Ohana
  • Chef Mickey's
  • Cape May
  • Garden Grove
  • Ravello

Out of that list, my vote would be for Chef Mickey's since it has the traditional Disney gang.

Thank you! I appreciate the breakdown of what we can eat without having tickets that morning :)
