Best Bar/Lounge Spring 2018

I have looked back at posts from past years but I am hoping for some recent opinions of the best bar or lounge for my upcoming trip: I am looking for somewhere with good mixed drinks and snack type food and a fun night out for myself and my cousin (in our 20s) anywhere on property. It will most likely be a Sunday night, I am considering possibly doing a monorail crawl or possibly hitting up a few places at Disney Springs.
Thanks!

Disney Springs is your best bet, but I'll also throw in that after spending some time at Geyser Point Bar at Wilderness Lodge, it's worth the boat ride over there to get a drink and some food.

Have you been to Trader Sams yet? Definitely a fun little place (emphasis on little) and we've always enjoyed ourselves there.

If you end up doing the monorail crawl, check it out on your stop at the Poly.

I loved it for about five minutes.. then the 'drink introductions' NEVER stopped. Even at our table .. I'm down with one for the first round, but not the second or third of the same drink. When they do it for everyone like that, its non stop drink intros .. I was hoping it would have been more like the Adventures Club at the old pleasure island, was sorely disappointing. Also, drinks were very weak and watered down, I was essentially paying for glass of ice with a splash of liquor, for 14 bucks a drink.

Maybe if I had been a regular that stopped in nightly and was staying at the poly the drinks would have been better, but we were just passing through.

At least at the Springs, I have had nice and strong drinks nearly each and every time from random bars there.

Mentioned small also .. yes, very tiny, so if you plan on swinging by, expect a wait in the evening.

I am thinking we could try trader sams earlier (hopefully less busy?) and then head over to the springs because TS is the only monorail resort bar that I really wanted to check out :)

In my opinion there is nothing better than a Monorail Crawl my stops would include all if not some of the following:

Contemporary: The Wave and Outer Rim, Outer Rim gets a bad rap because it is just a lobby bar however if you get a window view you have some of the best views of Bay Lake, its quieter from the Chef Mickey mayhem, and the Monorail Zooming by, we love it.
Polynesian: Tambu Lounge, up by O'hana, and Trader Sam's. Sam's is a bit much for me it's fun for a short bit but I enjoy the terrace better.
Grand Floridian: Most say Mizner's and the only time I do find it enjoyable there is if the band is playing. Otherwise I would go out to the pool bars enjoy the weather and views of Grand Flo, the one pool bar is located with views of Bay Lake.

If your still feeling up to it include Geyser Point at Wilderness Lodge, and stop by the Campgrounds Ft Wilderness for a drink at Crockett's Tavern, both accessible by boat.

Disney Springs is great and I do enjoy it however I feel like it gives you more the atmosphere that you can have at home, restaurants and bars. Monorail Crawl gives you something you can't do anywhere else.
