Belle's House

It got a little mention at D23 that the M&G experience was going to last somewhere to the 40 minute mark. That to me sounds amazing. Sign me up!

One Imagineer at the Carousel of Projects told me it'd be a 15 min. attraction in total. Maybe I heard him wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's what he said...

I have a hubby and 3 sons but we ARE going to see it/the new Fantasyland even though it is mostly geared towards girls. Hehe. B&tB is my fav movie. Anyhoo, when will all of the Fasntasyland expansion be completed? We are going in February.

I don't think any part of the FLE will be completed until 2013-2014

I am very exciting to see Beast's castle and Belle's house. I think they could do some great theming with both spaces.

However, I am still very sad that Sleeping Beauty's (Briar Rose) house ended up on the cutting room floor. I feel that she just doesn't get enough credit in the park.

Some of the concept art for the area outside of Belle's cottage shows the foliage in autumnal colors. Does anyone know if this is something that they are going to try to recreate -- on a larger scale than, say, the honey tree outside Winnie the Pooh? Or will they be going with a greener look?

I have a feeling that the artwork is just that, artwork. Most probably, the trees will be real, so they'll have whatever color leave the tree produces. Maybe they'll incorporate some red maples and/or other varieties that have different colors (other than green), but my feeling is, they'll be mostly green. I'm just happy that there will be real trees (and lots of them), providing the MK with some much needed shady spots. So many areas of the park are above the utildor system, prohibiting the growth of large shade trees (where you need them-along pathways, etc...) Looking forward to the trees and the water features!
