Belle Buses

My last trip I noticed several, what looked like normal disney guest transport buses travelling around. They caught our eye because instead of a resort name on the display it just said "BELLE" and they had very tinted window so you couldn't see in. What are these? Are they for Cast Members? My daughter told us they must be how belle gets from one park to the other:ROFLOL:.

They use character names on the displays rather than "out of service". I've seen Belle, Remy, Stitch and rapunzel.

And often times character names are used before the destination/pick up spot is decided. Typically during the travel time to the restore for the first pick up.

They occassionally use "VIP Cast Member" when the bus is going in or out of service. I was on a bus from Pop Century to DTD once with maybe 5 other people on the bus, including 2 kids, probably about 6 & 8. The bus driver said that since it was going out of service, she had to pick a different label for it & listed several off, including VIP CM. The kids thought it would be fun to say they were on the cast member bus & once I said that I was a cm, that's what the driver ended up choosing.

I always wondered this too. now I guess I wont get question it when I see what appears to be a big empty bus with VIP CM on it anymore, lol.
