We were all around China, of course we flew to Hong Kong, we didn't get to go to HKD unfortunately! I did take pictures of the signage, however!

:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: That is not a Disney park it's some half built buildings that look nothing like any Disney park in the world. China is littled with half built things due to the money running out. I think the thread should be renamed.

Sadly, I think it is just one of those Disney rip offs, there is an old thread on the site that has links to websites about them. The next park in China, if ever built and I hope not will be in Shanghi. (spelling?)

The guide said it was, and I'm sure he knows more about the area than any of us, but with that said he was still probably wrong. hah. Well we drove by it so quickly I just paid attention to taking photos and didnt notice. I thought it may have been, but a different style, like they did DLP or something, perhaps?

Thanks, yes, I feel dumb now. But It is reminiscent of Disney I guess.

I was in China last year and the park was in the very same shape it is right now. My bus driver also made the tour group believe it was related to Disney some how but it clearly is not. When I was there I did a little more digging for information and I was told the park was not completed because the city is trying to bring Disney in instead. However, Disney is clearly much more interested in Shanghai then Beijing, so who knows. Honestly in China there is very little accurate information out there simply because of the communist government. They control all the information that is released to the public.
