Okay. I need to make my "Beers to Drink" list for my upcoming visit.

Can you list your favorite beers from Around the World at Epcot and list where you can find them?
Would like to see how many I can try while I am there that will be listed in this thread.

Feel free to list others that are on property like DTD.

Crush this thread has your name all over it. LOL. :)

During W&D, I really enjoyed Altenmunster Oktoberfest (in Germany). I'm told it is offered throughout the year, so I'll be checking when we're at the World in Jan. :-)

Love the Epcot beer crawl. There are so many good choices. Here are a few of my favorites in no particular order:

1) Carlsberg in Norway
2) Anything in Germany - I had an Octoberfest beer that was really good.
3) Beer stand next to Rose and Crown that has Guiness
4) Yuengling Lager in China!!! Not sure where you are from but I grew up on this stuff and it's the farthest thing from Chinese as its brewed in rural Pennsylvania (they opened a brewery in Fl now too). This is not exotic but it is the oldest brewery in America so if you aren't from the East Coast or Fl it may be something you can't get at home.

For something a little different outside of Epcot, Kona Cafe at the Polynesian sells beers from the Kona Brewing company (brew pub on the big Island of Hawaii). My favorite was the Fire Rock Pale Ale. I think they had a few other variaties as well.

Ha! I had no idea they had Yuengling in China...that's funny. This is a surprisingly good American beer. Never had it at Epcot. My brother in law lives in PA so I've sampled this fine beverage when visiting. Funny they have it in China...Uhm maybe because it 'sounds' Chinese...? You know what I have one down in my beer fridge right now...I'm going to go have it....BRB....................................................................................................................
Hmm...Yup still delicious. ;)

I had myself a Kona, I don't remember which brew but I think it may have been a Pale Ale. I'm remember enjoying quite a bit. Then again I was enjoying everything at the time as it was my first and only stay at the Polynesian so far.

All of these are now on my list. Carlsberg for sure. R&C is my most favorite now. Trip isn't complete without a pint of Harp.
We have Yuengling here. To be honest I haven't tried it yet but will fix this as soon as possible. I may not get it while on our trip as I can get it here. Really want to get something that I cant get here. I know I can get Harp here too but its just become something I have to do while in Epcot.

We will be at Ohana the night we arrive. Will try and stop and Kona to try this out.

Per Crush, we are ALL to try a Carl's Combo at Rose and Crown....Stella and Bass!

Carl's Combo has been on my list for months after talking to Crush about this in his R&C thread.

Yes just beers Crush. Visited a store last night that sells growlers. Was amazed at all the different brews. Gave me the idea to do this thread on what to get while on our trip.

Right now let me see :)

I'm just gonna list the beers I recommend ;)

Norway: Carlsberg; Not Norwegian but on draft it can be pretty good when touring around the World!

Germany: Altenmunster Oktoberfest: Good beer but pales in comparison to Späten Optimater that used to be here!

Also good is the 1ltr Beers at BierGarten :)

France: Kronenbourg 1664: It has it's fans and it's haters but I quite like this refreshing Beer from the Kiosk in France

America: Sam Adams Seasonal: Best of the bunch depending on the season

Canada: Canadian Unibroue;
La Fin du
Monde
Blanche de Chambly
Trois Pistoles: All great Beers but may take sod getting used to

MooseHead: I have been getting this fom a local store and it has grown on me :)

China: Yuengling: Usually have this a few times anytime I'm in The States

Italy: La Rossa: An amber double malt Lager that goes well with Pizza at Via Napoli :D

UK:Rose & Crown:

Golden(aka The Carl Combo) - Half Stella Artois Lager and Half Bass Ale

Golden Fox - Half Boddingtons and Half Bass Ale

Black and Tan - Half Bass Ale and Half Guinness

Bumblebee - Half Boddingtons and Half Guinness

Bass Ale
Boddingtons English Pub Ale
Guinness Stout
Stella Artois
Harp Lager

How's that guys?????:D:D:D

I love this thread. Thanks Crush for making such a great list!!!

I was out yesterday and visited a growler store for the first time. This store sells growlers that you can get filled with draft brews that they have there. Great Idea!! After leaving with a couple growlers I got thinking after looking at all the different beers and not knowing which one I wanted. I need to be prepared when I hit Epcot this year!

If you have never been to a growler store you need to go if they have one in your area. Lovely selection of beers! Here are a few shots I took while there.

Happen to try a Southerntier Creme Brulee Stout. It was awesome! I will be back for more.
