My sister and I live with my parents.
My sister is building a house and she should be moving out within the next few months.
I'd like to switch bedrooms.
The thing is her room is painted lime green and large black and white zebra stripe.
I don't hate it but I would not be able to just move right in and feel like its me as is.
Helping me repaint it is likely going to be low on everyone's priority since we'll be helping her move and then it will be the holiday season and I can see it just not being done for quite some time.
So here are my options for now that don't involve painting.
First I could lean into the animal print vibe. I do love me some leopard print so I could get leopard print curtains and some funky leopard/zebra print bedding. Heck even get some cute contact paper and refinish some of my furniture as its seen better days.
OR
Second I could simply cover the walls.
There are Etsy shops that let you do custom size and image "tapestries" (Basically its a lightweight microfiber material so easy to hang).
I had thought that it would be neat if I found an image of Poly/GF and CR with POV's from Seven Seas Lagoon and put them on their respective walls and then do one of Main Street USA and the castle on the other wall.
I do love the thought of the second option but not sure if it would make the room look too busy and I do have a vanity and a slightly tall dresser so IDK if the furniture would take away from the overall look.
Currently in my room I have 6 11x14 Disney prints (3 hanging above my bed and 3 hanging on another wall) so if I stuck with the animal print I'd hang them in there but if I did the full wall tapestries I would not.
Oh and if it were to be painted it would be a light purple color but because its me I would add glitter haha. Can't be too plain.
