Bed rails

Hello! Been to WDW countless times but never needed bedrails--now that I have a 4 year old I think it's a good idea! I put in the bedrail request on my reservation. My question is: is there a fee? Also, do they come installed in your room upon arrival?

There is no fee for the bed rails. We had requested them on our last trip, however we still had to call for them upon arrival. No prob - quick phone call and they were brought right to the room. We "installed" them the first night - they just slipped btwn the mattress and box spring. Mouse keeping made up the bed each day and re-installed them also. My 3 year old loved them on his 'big bed'. Worked out really well.

what does your child use at home on the bed? I know my young grandson at 3 did not like the rail and just kicked it out and off the bed. yes it is placed between mattress and box springs but it can be kicked out. he saw it as babyish and he was a big boy

He normally sleeps in a toddler bed with bedrail on the open side.
