Becoming an Imagineer

I did a search for this, and although a similiar thread probably exists, i couldn't find it. If anyone here can give me (and anyone else) information of the process people go through to become an imagineer, it would be greatly appreciated. What type of degree does it require, what type of training, etc.

Well, the easy way would be to enter the annual Imagineering contest, win and then impress Disney...

What else can be told. Imagineering is a lot of things, so first of all you need to find out what you want to specialize in. It could be everything from 3D graphics to actual engineering. And then you study it, probably get a university degree and apply for a job at WDI...

No, not necessarily. It all depends on what you want to do at WDI. And I'm sure current Disney management wouldn't mind someone with a mind for budgets, hehe
