Bear updates?

Can anyone tell me what's going on with Bear in the Big Blue House in the Disney Studios? Is he still doing the meet and greets? Has Playhouse Disney Show opened yet?
We're leaving tuesday with our little Bear fan so any updates would be appreciated!! Thanks!

Sorry, I don't have any answers but I would also like to know the same. We are going during Thanksgiving and going to see Bear is definitely one thing my little girl wants to do. I hope he is there, have fun next week.

When we were there a few weeks ago. they were doinf the meet and greets.

What is up with the studios putting up brand new shows and taking them away months later? First Doug and now the bear?


Don't they know that there are actually ppl that can't visit disney every 6 months?

Bear is being replaced by Playhouse Disney, which is scheduled to open later this month. It should still have Bear in it, he just won't be the main focus.

And about WWTBAM disappearing -- well, I don't think it will right away. But really, once the TV show loses it popularity, it seems logical that the attraction would close. But who knows on that one.

Doug was new?? I'm sorry, but it opened in 1999 and was 3 whole years old when it closed.
