Beach Club Villas Question

Hi everyone! My family and I are staying at the BCV for seven nights in February. We are renting points through David's Rentals and hoping to buy into DVC sometime in the near future.
My question is, do you always have a patio / balcony at the BCV? I feel like I read somewhere that not all rooms have them, and since that is one of the reasons we wanted a deluxe resort, I just wanted to find out for sure. If not, is there a way to request one? We have a 3 year old and a 5 year old and there will probably be nights when they are asleep before us, and a balcony would really be nice for those nights! Thanks so much!

Thanks everyone! Just wanted to make sure. Didn't want to drop the ball and be stuck without one. Thanks again!

Though some balconies *are* a bit bigger than others... Some are the full width of the room they're attached to, others are smaller and aren't much bigger than the table and chairs on it.

A few years ago we got a two bedroom with a tiny balcony. It was really small, it barely fit two chairs. We had 4 adults in our group so we didn't use it much. If you do get a room with a small balcony it should still fit two people. We didn't make a fuss about the balcony because our room faced the quiet pool and was centrally located...Plus we were at BCV's!
I think the 2nd floor rooms are most likely to have the little balconies.

Looking at my pics (which are entirely of the side facing the quiet pool, so the other sides might not hold to the same patterns) there are general rules on which floors have which types of balconies, but it's not true for all balconies of each floor.

About the only thing consistent is that the 1st floor has patios and 2nd floor has full balconies. Above that it's a mish-mosh based on where in the wing the room is on that particular floor.

*Generally* the 3rd floor has the small balconies. (We were a 1-bedroom, Room 372, and we had a small one) But there are some with full balconies in the middle of the building and at the end.

Fourth floor is mostly full balconies (some semi-enclosed with a solid wall for a railing), but a few small ones in the middle and ends.

Fifth floor, which is only in the central part of the building, is almost all full balconies.

At least it's not the main Beach Club building where some rooms' balconies are literally a standing balcony with room for two people to stand should-to-shoulder and that's it...

Maybe we were on the third floor then...I just remember noticing that my entire floor had little balconies...
