Beach Club Villas, Mid-May weather, crowds

I would like to know what anyone else has experienced with mid-May weather & crowds....we have always gone to WDW in Nov., Dec., or March. Is it unbearably hot and humid in mid-May? How are the crowds? We have experienced the crowds Thanksgiving and Easter weekends, and I'm not sure it's something I want to do again! Also, we are staying at the Beach Club Villas. So far, all that I have requested is a non-smoking 2 b/r unit. We have always stayed at the Polynesian, so I'm unfamiliar with the BCV. How is the bus service? Any transportation tips? Exactly how far of a distance is the walkway that goes into EPCOT? What room should I request that is convenient to the walkway and/or has a view of EPCOT? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The Beach Club Villas are great. The bus service is good and the best part is you can walk to Epcot.

The rooms at the Beach Club Villas are band spanking new. They look great. The resort has tones of things to do. “Storm along Bay” is probably the best pool at Disney World. (Heck it a lot like a water park) Resort has a great theme. Board Walk is across the lake. Night time activities are great at BW.

Mid May- Hum I usually go around June – so I can’t say for certain. It probably just getting hot- crowds are not at fullest.

Great to hear, only 25 more days and we are leaving for the BCV.
