I'm going to Disney World in June, and I'm staying at the Beach Club Resort. Could anyone tell me what this hotel is like, and if they know where I can find pictures of the hotel swimming pool.? I've seen quite a few pictures, but I was looking for some goods ones of the pool slide. Thank you! :D

You are going to LOVE staying at the Beach Club. It is a beautiful resort and you are right in the middle of everything. Say hi to the new Beach Club Villias for me. My husband and I joined DVC and the BCV are our home resort. 246 days and counting. Have a great time.

Mmm....I miss the Beach Club. I miss that way cool waterslide. I miss those secluded hot tubs...

...most of all, I miss Beaches and Cream.

I'm jealous of you, Spaceship Earth!

It's a great resort...and very close to everything. When I book trips for people who want something elegant but not GF I tell them Yacht and Beach. It is a great resort, and very (i guess) adult like.

Thank you!

So far I've heard nothing but great comments about the hotel were staying at. Thank You for the wonderful pool pictures too! I love them, that's what I was looking for. I will try the beaches and cream places for sure, since that seems popular. Your jealous of me? I'm flattered. :animwink: ok, thank you all for everything.

The Yacht and Beach are definitely great picks. Unfortunately, recently the Yacht Club Galley has close recently. Our family would eat there traditionally after a day of Epcot. Does anybody know why they closed it? Cutbacks would be my obvious guess.:(

Only guessing as well, but would think that with bookings now improving, it should reopen. I miss it as a breakfast and lunch spot, but found that the nearby Yachtsman Steakhouse filled the bill with pretty much the same menu (minus the great buffet!). Maybe the breakfast buffet is handled by Cape May now?

Just got back from Beach, it was soo cool! We had a wonderful view of the pool, When we get our pics back, i'll post em!

The Beach Club is my favorite hotel at Disney! I love the fact that you can walk to the back entrance of EPCOT from there. If you go to EPCOT in the morning you get to walk through a part of World Showcase before it opens and you feel as if you get to see a part of Disney that was opened up just for you! Usually you won't see many other people at all as you walk up to the Future World section that is open earlier. But make sure to stop and view the gardens of United Kingdom and Canada pavillions while no one else is there, it is just beautiful! Have a great time!
