Beach Club Questions

The last time I stayed in the Beach Club was in 1988, when I was in the 8th grade - needless to say, I was wondering if it had changed. I have a few questions - I was wondering if there was a particular area to request for a room to stay so that you are close to either the lobby or the International Gateway. Also, I am staying in a standard room - is it possible to request a king size bed? My husband and I are going for our anniversary and I want to make it special - any other thoughts or ideas? Anything else I should know about staying at the beach club? Thanks so much for the advice - I appreciate it. :animwink:

When you book your room you can simply request to be near either the main lobby OR be near the International Gateway, but as these two areas are on separate ends of the resort, they would not be able to honor both requests.

Rooms with one King Bed or one King Bed and a Day Bed are available on requests in the standard room category. Again simply ask at the time of booking.

When you book, please feel free to mention that you will be spending your Anniversary with us. I can't promise you anything, but magic has a habit of happening at Disney, especially when we know it is a very special occasion.:animwink::D

If you would like to plan something special for your "day" you may consider possiblely a spa treatment for two, or maybe a carriage ride at Port Orleans, Saratoga Springs, or Fort Wilderness.

Hope this helps! :sohappy:

Definitely mention your anniversary! We stayed at the YC and we got early check-in (1pm), the king bed we requested, and she put us in a room overlooking the quiet pool (also a request)!

We also had balloons and a card signed by Mickey and Minnie sent to our room at the WL - what a nice surprise! I'm sure the Beach club will be happy to accomodate any request to make it special for you.

Congrats!
