Someone coked out of their mind decided that it would be a good idea to do a Star Wars Christmas Special/Variety Show.

If you Google "Star Wars Christmas Special" you can find the entire show. It's SO horrible, that you can't help but stare - Like a car wreck.

Here is my all time favorite part - Bea Arthur as the singing Cantina Barmaid - it's magnificent:

That was a great read and waaaay more info than I ever expected. I love the insight to those cheesy 70's early 80's variety specials. I remember watching those specials (specifically Perry Como) as a 1st grader at my Grandpa's house in Chicago in the early 80's.
