Vertical steel is now currently visible for the Be Our Guest Restaurant. The FLE is a beehive of activity with adding "pounding" coming from behind the Tea Cups wall.

Pounding from behind the walls?

O_o oh?
Yup, lots of pounding coming from behind the Tea Cups wall. It could be The erection of scaffolding, as there were at least three men looking like they were getting ready to remove the lanterns that hang above the turntable. Over the period of one hour, it looked like they had put protective covering over the middle tea pot. There were also some new supports in front of WtP today. They match the wooden look of the supports near the new entrance brick work. I have a feeling that they're lamp posts.

Three men behind a wall, erecting and pounding?! This doesn't sound very Disney-like to me?!

It's not the first week of June is it??

Hm...any chance we could get one of those FLE cranes to extend on over to the Teacups and take the old roof off? :lookaroun

Sounds good all the way around though. Between IASW, Pooh, the Teacups, and the FLW, Fantasyland is rivaling DCA for amount of work and construction walls.

Here's a picture (from my iPhone-sorry for the quality) of the steel going up for the Be Our Guest restaurant.

This is so exciting. I remember going to WDW when I was little and riding the railroad so we could get a good look at the BTM construction. I love this stuff - can't wait to see how it's progressed when I go in December!
