This seems much easier than that awful website...wonder how that will affect walk ups though - not a problem for us as we're very ADR-oriented people, but for others...

Also, we're not breakfast people at WDW, but I am pretty excited to see that breakfast menu!

The article didn't say but I'm assuming that Disney will give more info as we get closer to February 25th,here's hoping at least.

Thanks. I'd be pretty bummed if it became a TS for both lunch and dinner. It's one of the only few high-quality quick services in the Magic Kingdom.

oh great, another meal at BOG I won't be able to get into because it is already booked at the 180+10 like dinner was the last 2 times I went!!

I knew it was just a matter of time before they made this decision. The system they had in place seemed pretty dumb. I too wonder if lunch will stay QS or become TS.

Walk-ups will likely not get in. This is no different than many TS restaurants on property. People who don't want to plan seem to be stuck with QS...and not BOG QS, if that's how it remains. But it's not like there are a shortage of places to grab a quick bite.

They are not going to change dinner to QS. That meal will basically remain the same.

You could always book it at 180+10. Isn't the point of doing this to get more people to stay on property when they see the perks? Makes good business sense.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Agreed, we enjoyed the lunch there far more than dinner, too.
It says you will be able to pre order your food as well so it is staying a QS for lunch I'm sure. That is what you could do during the test and you can't pre order for TS dinner so it is staying the same I think. Not worried about that at all. It will still be QS lunch and TS dinner. :)

no, I could not always book at 180 + 10 !!!
I always TRY at 180+10 - I ALWAYS stay on property- and everything for the entirety of my 10 day stay is already booked at 6 AM when i can make reservations. obviously, many people stay more than 10 days and take the ressies!!

Thanks for the info. Yes, that does certainly seem that it will still be QS. I wonder if they are doing that to still try to fit in walk-ins more easily than a TS would allow.

Obviously someone is making reservations at 180+10 days out or nobody would ever be eating there. I'm not sure what you mean. I understand that it is a high demand restaurant but it's not impossible to get an ADR. I have had several.

I know they like to test things to the millionth degree, but I'm sort of shocked that it took this long to announce this change. Breakfast should also be interesting.
