I am going to Disney world for my honeymoon this coming October and one of the restaurants my fiancé and I are dying to try is Be Our Guest in magic kingdom. We get to book it in three days eeekk! super excited.. but also super nervous as to how I am actually going to be able to get a reservation there..since its coming up so soon I've been Kinda following how quickly the restaurant books up online and I've noticed that right at midnite, if you try to make a reservation there online it tells you that it cannot complete your request and to try again later... I'm assuming this is from all of the ppl booking it... so I wait until 7 Am when the phone lines open up and by tht time everything is fully booked :-/

does anyone know how to get a reservation there?? and tips from ppl who actually have had a reso there?? any help would be greatly appreciated... it will be my finances first time at Disney and we really want it to be special

Our travel agent at Kingdom Konsultants was able to get us a dinner ADR at BoG on our November 2012 trip right when it opened. In February I was there for lunch, which we much preferred. For lunch we waited about 20 minutes to get in, you order at a touch screen kiosk and than you get a rose pager with a GPS in it. You are able to sit wherever you'd like within the castle and the food finds you! A server brings your food right to your table in a covered cart. Everything was so yummy and it was such a great experience, all hope is not lost if you can't get the ADR, just go during lunch instead! Good luck and an early Congratulations!

Online reservations don't open at midnight. They open at 6:00 AM Eastern, only an hour before the phone reservations open. The online dining reservation system is so glitchy, though, that you might not even be able to use it. Are you staying on property? If so, what I would suggest to increase your odds is to try to make the reservation for later in the trip. That way you're not actually making the reservation 180 days out, but 180+however many days back you make the reservation for. Perhaps you'll have better luck that way.

I am staying on Disney property... POFQ... from oct 12-20... my first day at the parks will be te 13th tho as we have a ways to travel to get to Disney and we want to be well rested for the parks... thats why I wanted to make the reservation Tuesday morning as it is the 180 day mark for Oct 13th. if I'm staying on property can I make a reservation for later in my trip on the 180 day mark of the 13th? even if techincally it would be more than 180 days away from the day of the reservation?

Yes. Do you check in on the 12th? If so, your 180 day mark is actually Monday. On Monday, you can make reservations for the 12th and the next ten days of your vacation since you are staying in a Disney resort. It's part of their Disney Advantage perks. You'll see people here referring to 180+10 in terms of dining reservations.

omg that would be amazing to go ahead and do it all tomorrow... I'm assuming I'd need to do it over the phone since the website only offers days 180 in advance right

thank you so much for all of your help

Doing it over the phone is easier. You can connect your room reservation to your dining reservations on the website, which in theory will allow you to book 180+10 tomorrow, but the website is so glitchy that it may not work. Sometimes it doesn't for weeks at a time. You can still try at 6:00 AM EDT tomorrow if you want, though. If that doesn't work, you can just call the dining hotline at 7:00 AM.
