We just recently set our vacation dates for The second week in March. Due to the late planning, I was almost certain there were no lunch/dinner reservation times open. I was correct.

However we are a party of 8 and im assuming that affected the results. Should I call and see if they have anything available over the phone? Is there any way to check if there are cancellations? Or just check back online daily?

I think you may be best off to continuously be checking. I have a trip coming up in May and BOG is fully booked for all 4 days that I was interested in dining there :( The girl on the phone advised me to just keep checking, up until the last couple days, and even the day before, since people make cancellations then as they want to avoid a cancellation fee. My plan is to just keep trying and trying and trying!

Totally agree! Definitely check even up to last minute. My son scored a last minute reservation that someone else cancelled on our last trip. Perfect way to end our trip and make up for a rainy day!
