Bay Lake Tower: room refurbs

Hi all,

I didn't see this posted anywhere else, so I thought I would mention it.
We got a letter today letting us know that they will be doing renovations of the rooms at BLT during our stay. Should I be worried about noise? I'm inclined to just not worry about it, but is it absurdly loud if they are working on rooms near ours?
Our stay is April 3-9.

I found it on another site "the refurbishment of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort will run from April 2 to October 14, 2016. This project is deemed a "soft goods" refurbishment. Refreshed items typically include linens, wall coverings, floor coverings and upholstery. "

I don't know how to attach a picture, but the relevant part of the letter reads:

In preparation for your upcoming visit, we are pleased to share with you that we are currently in the process of renovating rooms at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort for your future enjoyment. While we are working our Magic, it is possible that you may see and hear construction taking place. To minimize any possible disruptions to your stay, we will attempt to limit any work most likely to cause a noise impact to the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm.

Then they list a few phone numbers to call.
I assume that's actual construction, unless they are just covering themselves in case they make noise and somebody complains.

Doing soft goods refurbishment can still make noise especially if you are right next to the rooms or beneath the rooms etc they are working on. That is all they are doing this time but still will always let guests know regardless. :)

Awesome. I'm not worried about some noise, but I might be a little annoyed if they were moving walls or something right next door.

OMG- we stayed at the Boardwalk Villas Jan. 2015 when they were doing major rennos and it was beyond loud several days. They were removing the tile from the kitchens the floor above us and there was dust falling from the ceiling. Other than the deafening noise our stay was great, but tough to take a nap mid day! Soft goods replacements probably aren't as invasive. Well at least I hope as we are returning home to BLT in September :)

You had dust falling from the ceiling and didn't insist on being moved?

Heading here in mid May. How's the pool looking? What changes are happening to the pool? I heard the splash pad is changing.
