Hello I was wondering has anybody ever done like a 5 day base ticket and then added 2 day hopper to it. We know what parks we want to do for the 5 days but wanted to use the other two days for parks we might of missed something we wanted to go back to again.

If you have a five day non-hopper ticket and then you pay to upgrade to a seven day ticket, the new ticket will still be non-hopper unless you also pay for the park hopper option. If you purchase the park hopper at that point the charge will be the same as it would have been if you'd had park hopper all along. $73.49 per person.

Second Edit: To remove the part that my first edit added, because it was incorrect. I should have just left the original post alone. The above is my original answer.

Edited to add: If you time the purchase of the extra days and the park hopper for when your original tickets have only one day remaining, the charge for park hopper will be $58.58. That is the charge for park hopper on a ticket for three or fewer days. The above mentioned $73.49 is for tickets including 4 or more days. Keep in mind, you must still have at least one unused ticket day in order to upgrade a ticket.

Hopper price is calculated on the overall ticket, not just how many days are left. So Hopper will cost you the same price whether you add it in Day 1 or Day 5.

That's what I wrote originally but then I went to the Disney site and asked the question on the chat feature. Then I came back and edited my post to add what the cast member told me. I've now edited the edit.
