Just a heads up for all your BNL fans out there...
They've realeased their ninth major studio album in the form of a Holiday compilation. It's called "Barenaked for the Holidays."
I picked it up last week--I like it very much (then again I'm a huge fan).
The CD's kinda on the short side (the whole baby clocks in at around 47 minutes), but as with all BNL releases it manages to balance heart, intelligence, humour, and musicianship in one package. My only complaint is that it needs more vocal tracks. The accordian/ keyboard tracks are cute, but they are short and seem like filler.
It's got seven original songs, including a hilarious (and very catchy) tune called "Elf's Lament" as well as familar holiday favorites.
The ladies also wrote the best original hannukah song that I have ever heard. They even sing the Hebrew blessings (very impressive).
So enough rambling! Go pick this up.
