Bands/singers you thought you discovered when younger! Oh how you were wrong!

I read a Cody Diablo quote the other day and she was laughing at how all these kids think they discovered "Dont' stop belevin" by journey and that she thought she discovered "The cure" when she was younger.


Made me alugh at how 12/13/14 year olds think "You got the love" is by florence and the machine etc!

Haha, we have all been there i think.


In 2003 i thought i discovered Green day.:hammer::hammer::hammer:
not as bad as my friend who thought she was awesome cause she "discovered" david bowie and queen!

Oh how silly i was!

B52'S. I was all proud of it and then my sister who is ten years older than me pulled out an old tape of them from years before. It didn't help matters that I called them the B-5-2-Ses. lol

So funny, there are so many bands i thought i was the first to hear. Really funny.

Kids are just like that. About ten years ago, my uncle (who was in his forties at the time), was volunteering at is son's field trip. His friends asked him if he ever heard of this "new band" called Led Zepplin. He had to stop himself from laughing, and said, "Yeah, I've heard of them."
