OH YES... we missed them. We have never stayed at GF but make a point on making our way over to there to dine, look through their shops and then relax while listening to the wonderful selection of music. Their presence added so much ambiance to the resort. No one knows what the plan is on bringing them and others back. I only wish Dis realized how much they added to add pleasure to guests trip experience. The cost should be absorbed by what guests now pay out, but now I expect unless the band directly charges for the show its not cost effective. Sigh.

i agree with you, sadly all these things are slowly being swept away. My wife and i love the Band and would come over to have a drink in the lounge and listen to the band before heading to the MK on a Halloween/Christmas night. it really made that place special at night.

I doubt they’ll be brought back. They got rid of their performance place for a start by expanding the lounge.
The band was brought back temporarily to play at DHS and I think they even played a few times at GF from an alcove in the lobby, which didn’t last long.

When we stayed there last year, they did bring back the piano performers. Although not quite as exciting as the band, we really enjoyed sitting in the lobby while listening to them play. Ahhhhhhhh, to be that talented!!
