Bambi DVD out today!

Yay! I just bought the Bambi DVD, and I'm hoping its going to look waaaay better than my VHS version. That poor thing is hanging on for dear life. I have decided to retire it. I dont think I'll be able to wait till Oct. 4 for Cinderella... My VHS on that one is practically shot!

I really hope the rumor of the Platinum Edition of The Little Mermaid coming out next year is true!

The restoration on this is excellent. I hadn't seen this movie in 5 years or so. This may be Disney's best drawn movie (along with Fantasia). So many different things happening on so many different levels of animation. I'm no expert, but it's incredible.

Also, the DVD mentions that Lady & the Tramp is coming out in March of 2006.
