So, Baloo's just hit the shelves, and-- He...is...outstanding. Baloo is a terrific figurine and a great playable character! I'm going out on a limb and saying that he's actually so much fun that it's worth upgrading to Infinity 3.0 just to play as this guy (well, okay, along with all the other improvements in 3.0--but Baloo seals the deal.)
His attacks and moves are hilarious, wonderful and straight out of the animated film. He uses palm trees for clubs. He throws various fruit (and not just any fruit--the exact *right* fruits from Bare Necessities.) He roars. He dances. He claps his hands.
He puts on a grass skirt and knocks enemies out with his hips.
The only problem with Baloo is that ALL of his attacks and moves are great, so you're going to have a very tough time picking which abilities to focus on upgrading in the skill tree.
His dialogue is wonderful and truly funny. And, rest easy, he sounds like Phil Harris and not Bill Murray (Nothing against Mr. Murray, but there's only one classic film Baloo.)
