Pre-Trip Bags are packed, house is clean, dog is fed.....

Actually, my clothes are stacked to be put in the suitcase, the house is a mess & someone will be taking care of the dog.

I am going to do a pre-trip report of our progress & plans and hopefully a live trip report when we get there Wish me luck!

Already messed up on my attempt, as I tried to add a trip countdown. As you can see, that didn't work.
We leave for WDW on March 13..... stay tuned for the details. I am being beckoned to color so ya'll will have to wait.

Oh, that exciting feeling when a trip is about to start. You can feel stressed to get things done in time, but yet thrilled that it is finailly time. March 13 is almost here! Have a great time!

So here are some details:
We leave home on March 13 driving for an overnight stay in Georgia and arrive at our home away from home on March 14. We return home on March 23.
Staying at All Star Movies for the 8th time.
DH (my fun loving disney fanatic hubby) is the planner of the group, the list maker, the lead pin trader, the one that loves all rides, and turns into a kid as soon as the bags are unpacked in the room.

DD (our delightful 5 year old daughter) is the mini-me of her father. She is a planner, a pin trader, a no-napping kid that enjoys all thing Disney.

Me - I am the one that reads everything on this forum & keeps DH updated. I am a disney fanatic that tries to keep them organized & from bumping heads on what to do & what pins to trade.

DC (our wonderful teenage disney cousin) is coming with us!! He did not make a trip with us last year & we missed him being with us. He is like a big brother to DD & enjoys everything at Disney.

Packing status....
DH is 95% packed since mid-January (yes, he has that many Disney t-shirts & shorts to pre pack). Of course, I like to remind him that he forgot his belt in September, even though he had a list of what was & wasn't packed.
DD - thanks to DH's help, DD is 75% packed. I just need to get together her pants & long sleeve stuff that she currently wears.
Me - I have t-shirts folded & ready so I guess that makes me 1% packed.

Just 9 days til we leave !!!

Thanks. I hope I am able to provide a live trip report like others have posted....one that brings everyone along with us! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading other live reports so I want to share our trip in a similar way.

I am super excited for this trip. As with last year's trips, we have friends & family that will be with us. In September, my parents went with us & it was the best trip ever!!!
This trip includes 2 other families that we will meet up with most days. One family has never been before, so I am trying to prepare them without information overload. I want to witness their first time thru the entrance.... oh happy happy tears!!!

I never understood why the house has to be cleaned right up to the minute where you're late hitting the road for the airport? Why can't things be cleaned the week before or the day before and let it go! I don't relax until I am sitting at the airport.

Everything is packed (well, as long as I have the important items, anything else can be bought if forgotten), the house is clean (well, for the most part), and the dog is taken care of.
Now, to think up the title of the live trip report and drive to sunny (& no snow!) Florida! We should be in WDW by noon on Friday!!
Hopefully I will find time to post details & pictures throughout the day (and not bump in to anyone if I am looking at my phone instead of watching where I am walking).
