Bad News for Eisner Bashers

This is taken from an article for Eisner's support, despite the economic hard times Disney is going through.

Whatever the situation, analysts and board sources from both sides of the issue agreed that Eisner's job is not yet in danger, in part because he would be very difficult to replace.

"All (getting rid of Eisner) would do is say to the world that we've done something," Watson said. "I think it would be a fatal mistake. We're very supportive of Michael Eisner, very supportive of (Disney President) Bob Iger."

That really means nothing. Vivendi's board said the same about Messier until the very day they gave the guy the boot. And I don't even have to start about how Enron had the support of just about everybody before they went under.

With the calls for Eisner's head increasing by the day, it is only a matter of time before he is shown the way out.

Eisner is doing a good job in my opinion. Disney's stock price isnt doing so well but is will make a comeback. And if your not a shareholder at Disney, then you dont have any say about Eisner's job so too bad.....the Disney Board of Directors and the shareholders make decision for the company...you dont...and if they were to vote Eisner out of office and let the shareholders decide, I would say no, keep Eisner at Disney, he is doing a great job.

Swashbuckling Adventures!

It would cost a fortune to get rid of our CEO before his contract runs out in 2006. He saved a sinking ship and he deserves credit. Now, he's a drunken captain that can't run the ship. We need to find a good 1st mate to run the ship. Any suggestions Mateys! Arrgh.
