Backlot Tour

I think that Disney should expand the Backlot Tour at MGM. They should take you on the old route as long as the new route and drive by where they used to film The Mickey mouse club. That is still there as well as the dorms where the cast slept! This would make this ride much better. Please respond

I've got an idea. How about pull it out (as well as the old Backstage Pass area) and put in an actual ride.

Disney/MGM is going to be needing something new soon and this area of the park doesn't have that much traffic.

And why? Because once you've done this pretty lame Backlot Tour (which really tours NOTHING!), there's really no need to do it again.

The pre-show thing is a little fun. Catastophe Canyon isn't that impressive. A lot of the effects are actually done in other Disney attractions and are much more impressive than this one.

Okay, I guess I'm really being mean-spirited on this one. But I'd love to see another really top-notch attraction (maybe something a bit more kid-friendly) go into this park. And this area gets my vote for the location, since I felt so underwelmed by the current state of Backlot Tour.

And sadly, I don't think making it longer by seeing dorms and the outside of soundstages will make it any more interesting.
