Back when Max, Melvin, and Buff from Country Bear Jamboree were in Pecos Bill

Ok...I know I'm dating myself so I'll throw it out there and say I grew up going to disney and my first trip to wdw was for the first anniversary of magic kingdom in Oct 1972...you know...back when that was "disney" lol...now that that's out of the way lol does anyone have any video or pics of when the talking stuffed animal heads Buff, Max, and Melvin (which are still in Country Bear Jamboree) were still inside Pecos Bills?

Ahh, and you are referring to Breakfast with Melvin The Moose...With Chip & Dale...

When they were n that location, Pecos Bill's had a little narrower service counter. Back then there was a counter serve snack location called the Mile Long Bar at the leftmost area of Pecos Bill as you came out of Country Bear. It had mirrors on both ends of the service counter, which was built like a bar. The mirrors were angled just slightly to create a perpetual reflection making it look like the bar was a 'mile long'.

The animatronics were removed when a Pecos bill was renovated and expanded and overtook the space that was the Mile Long Bar.

Didn't know they were there but we lived in the area so we never did hotel stays when I was growing up ...love learning something new about old school disney

Yes..After you pass them by the wall. The both ends of the counters had mirrors to give the effect of it looking longer than normal this was all removed in 1998...

Look how beautifully they move...Such great old-school animatronics...when I was a kid, I wanted a talking Max of my very one SO MUCH.
