Thursday 17th October Typhoon Lagoon
Really hot today, over 90. We've had wonderful weather throughout our whole stay, no rain at all.
Had breakfast at our usual time then got the bus to Typhoon Lagoon.
We went on Castaway Creek first which is a river that goes around the park. I of course struggled to get on my rubber ring the first time and walked the entire route! I did however manage to get on it a second time. The boys enjoyed it.
I really enjoy Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, it has giant waves that rise high above you and come crashing down on you. John doesn't like this but I do. On our honeymoon in 2001, I lost my bikini bottoms with this wave, luckily I was under the water at the time! I had scratch marks on my thighs were I was frantically trying to get my bottoms back up! I remembered and wore a one piece swimsuit this time.
Owen liked the Bay Slides, cute little kiddie slides.

After lunch we went on Gangplank Falls 3 times. A great water raft ride that holds all of us and goes down over rocks and through waterfalls.
We went to a Downtown Disney in the boat which was lovely
At night we went to Planet Hollywood( reservation at 8.15)
It was lovely, mum and I had
Ribeye Steak 12 oz. ribeye steak chargrilled to order. Served with french fries and fresh sautèed vegetables ( I had mashed potatoes instead of fries )
