Trip Report Back to Disney Day 6 Animal Kingdom

Tuesday 15th October Animal Kingdom

I set the alarm for 7am but woke up at 9.10! Did well though and was down at breakfast at 9.50.
I phoned Mum and Dad and met them after breakfast. I didn't have time for my cooked breakfast today so had yoghurt, strawberries, raspberries and granola. It was nice for a change.

Our bus to the Animal Kingdom was the first in and we arrived just after 11. Our first fast pass was for Dinosaur. Mum doesn't like this one but the rest of us went on. I remember not liking this the first time we went but I really enjoyed it this time. Great special effects and realistic dinosaurs. Boys not particularly keen though, I think it was a bit fast for them.

Next John took the boys on TriceraTop Spin which they liked, Mum and I had a coffee.

The boys not huge animal lovers so John took them on the river rapids 3 times whilst Dad, Mum and I looked around Pangani Forest Exploration Trail. Saw the hippo very well this time and he swam by us twice. Got good photo of the meercats too.

Got great view today of two huge male silverback gorillas. One looked really grumpy and was scowling at his audience. Got good photo and video. Saw a female too, she was playing with a branch.

I loved this grumpy gorilla!

Festival of the Lion King is AMAZING!!! One of our favorite shows. Your boys look young -- weren't they a little skittish in Tough to be a Bug? My daughter was freaking out on that this past August and she was 6!
