Got back yesterday from 5 nights at the Lodge. Had a glorious view from the courtyard looking over the pool and Bay Lake. Played golf, enjoyed TRex, The Wave, Artist Point, Whispering Canyon, and the Food and Wine festival. Little rainy Friday am. Chased many away from the MK, but not us. Rain came only twice and we blew through all the attarctions in 4 hours! Returned to MK on Sat for the castle show, shopping and Photopass for this years Xmas cards. F & W festival was better than last year. The offerings were better and Louisiana was featured. That was especially fun for my DW who is from New Orleans. We segwayed our way through FW. That was fun. Those things are very easy to drive. Gonna go back in Dec.

Sounds like you had a blast and the crowds im guessing were fairly light?? Im interested in that as we are going next year on the 13th October for our honeymoon.

And thanks for the Segway reference, thats something i can add to our to-do list when we are there.

Sounds Fun

Sounds Fun, Im jealous you got to go to food and wine.. I am going in 2 weeks and will just miss it. I went last year and loved it. Hopefully the crowds will be the same or better than you stated. :D

Last week at this very time I was just leaving the F&W festival at Epcot . I agree that it was a lot of fun, a ton of good food and music. We had a great time there this year.

We just got back from the lodge too!! Had a good time but thought the parks were crowded for this time of year and the crappy economy. MNSSHP was packed Tuesday night, I wouldn't go back the week of Halloween. A 20 minute wait for peter pan for separate ticketed event is to crowded for my taste. Of course we brought the cold weather down with us, but we still had fun.

The crowds the week of the 13th were awful. The parks were so crowded we could hardly move. We fought through it, because we had family in town, but I was shocked that it was so slammed, and 100 minutes waits for Test Track are ridiculous.
