Baby Penguin born at SeaWorld

On November 30th SeaWorld welcomed the newest penguin to the family (and first baby born in the new Antarctica attraction) A baby king penguin. He weighs just over 30 ounces, when fully grown he could weigh up to 24 pounds. The penguin is being cared for and raised by his parents. However SeaWorld is monitoring weight and overall development.

He sure is. Last night I rode Antarctica at 12:58 and one of the educators rode through with me and pointed out several babies to me. It was a priceless end to such a good night. I was the last person out of the attraction. They were telling me a lot and showing me a lot. I got to see 4 babies. It was so fun
