We traveled to disney from May 6-13!
Day 1- We began our trip brigt and early leaving for the airport before 3am to catch our 6 am flight! It was a very bumpy ride and a rough landing, but delta song is really neat with the tv channels and triva games! We arrived in Orlando and used DME to All star movies resort. We arrived after 3 and had two rooms booked we were given the first room key and headed off to the food court while the rest of our party got their room keys. The front desk had forgotten to mention that our rooms were not ready yet.. and were not ready until after 4! Also arnt your room keys your "key to the world"? while ours were not. they sent us to the park just to pick up our park passes. which were the untimate park hopper passes with water options. After enjoying pizza, philly cheese steakes, and quasadeias in the food court (both were amazing) we head off to the rooms and placed our carry ons there and headed off to epcot. We mainly just wondered around a little and rode the test track (also amazing). We had an early night that night. The beds were super comfy!
Day 2- We woke up early and enjoyed mickey waffles for breakfest in the food court then we went to the magic kingdom where my park pass did not work and i got shipped off to guest services to get a new one. Space Mtn, Snow white, meeting ariel, and enjoying dole whips were done in the afternoon. We then headed to the resort for a swim to cool off. The pool was cute and shallow all the way around. We then went back to the magic kingdom for the extra magic hours. We did mickeys phillmarmagic which was awsome.. i loved smelling the apple pie! the haunted mansion, space mtn (again), thunder mtn, and peter pans flight! Wishes were also awsome as always! The lemonaid slushis are also realllly good haha i had several during the trip!
Day 3- Todays agenda was the animal kingdom where my park pass did not work again and i had to go stand at guest services yet again! First time on dinosaur and we ended up doing it twice! it was bumpy haha.. Prima whirl, the safari ride, river rapids, and everest were all good to! Evrest was awsome but not as good as i expected though! That night we did DT disney and some shopping! i love the lego family and dragon!
Day 4- Yumm this morning i tried a breakfest crosaunt sandwich in the food court, it was sooo goood! We went to epcot today. We did sorin which was amzing. It actually felt like we were flying! We got fast passes for the test track and were also given free ones for mission:space which only had a 5 minute wait anyways! (we did not use it, nor did we even ride at all) We went to the club cool and tried the sodas (they wernt very good!!!) I bought a slush drink in a cup with minnie feet and ears! very cute! That afternoon we went back to the resort for a swim and enjoyed an ice cream sandwich! it was huge! two giant cookies with three giant scoops of ice cream! That night we rode the test track at epcot again and watched illumonations while eating fish and chips from england! When we got to our busstop the stop for the movies was atleast 4 busses long while to one for sports has practically no one! So we took the bus to the sports and walked through sports and music to the sports! it was a nice walk and nice to see all the diffrent resort buildings!
Day 5- MGM Today!!! Rockin Roller coaster, backlot tour, lights motor action, the great movie ride, and who wants to be a millionair where all done today! The rockin rollercoaster was.. well.... fast haha.. Lights motor action was awsome!! it was cool to see a girl out there riding the bikes as well! and as for who wants to be a millionair.. guess who was the complete stranger that a contastant called... ME.. also guess who got the question wrong... ME haha.. i got a button though lol That night we went to disney quest! it was awsome! especially the river rapid ride and the buzz lighteyear bumbercars. we also wandered aroun the virgin mega store and someother shops!
Day 6- Back to the magic kingdom today, and it rained, so we sat out by the christmas store for 45 minutes.. it never stopped so we bought rain ponchos. as soon as we put them on the rain stopped! ahaha what our luck! oh well there cute suviners with mickey on them! We rode space mtn again and winnie the pooh. Any one ever eat a cheesefilled pretzil? it was the grossest thing we had tried all week! For dinner that night we went to DT disney and enjoyed the rainforest cafe! That resturant was reallly neat! they wanted us to wait 3 hours for a table or we could pay $15 and get a membership and have a table in 15 mins! so we payed the extra $15. it was worth it. We will never use the membership again but we were starving!
Day 7- Our last and final day we went back to typhoon lagoon. The wave pool was awsome, the family raft ride was a little short, but Crush n Gusher was amazing!!!That night we headed back to MgM. We saw indiana jones, played who wants to be a millionair again, and i chickened out on the rockin roller coaster again
we did muppits 3D insted! We didnt get to see fantasmic but when we got back to the hotel we shopped around the gift shop for some last minute items and packed up!
Day 8- Today we were leaving We had checked several times about using the hotel check out when our final destination was halifax (we had a connection in boston) and both delta and the front desk said we could! So after waiting in line for over an hour with 12 bags (there were 6 of us) we were told we couldnt check out there and we had to lug all our luggage to DME bus and check in at the airport! So after waiting in line for an hour we had no time to eat because we had to head to the airport!
Overall our trip was amazing with only a few little slip ups.. just out card not working and the check out at the hotel! We were hesitant about the all star resort but it was nice and the food was amazing! lots of diffrent options! The rooms were always clean and the mousekeeping thanked us everytime they saw us for the tips! The busses were often crowded but im young and really didnt mind standing at all!
