Aviation Pavilion (replace wonders of life) idea

I have this idea to turn the old wonders of life building and universe of energy into a new aviation pavilion based off DCA's condor flats...
The outside of the area would be out fitted with planes, rocks, radio towers, a control tower and trees
The extior of the Wonders of life building would be made to look like an air plan hanger with (artificial trees to add the illusion that there is nothing behind the hanger, similar to dinosaur. Inside , projectors would make the inside of the dome seem like guests are standing on an air field.
The pavilion would include
-a "Plane Crazy" roller coaster, based on the old mickey cartoon
- a quick service restaurant
- a re done "dream flight"
- plane simulators
-and exhibits


the universe of energy building would be transformed into a new theater for an updated soarin, with 4 concourses functioning at once.

I like everything except the uoe being taken over for soarin. I think uoe should just be updated. Imo

nope. 1920s Disney cartoon doesn't fit in Epcot.

An aviation pavilion sounds like a fine idea, but I feel like it's not a broad enough concept for EPCOT. Even getting around that though there is NO NO NO way that a bare bones roller coaster would fly in EPCOT. Even if it wasn't bare bones (that is to say, track and supports, like the Barnstormer) That would be a tough sell for me because roller coasters are not what EPCOT is about.

You don't really need a quick service restaurant over here because it would probably cannibalize a lot of profits from The Electric Umbrella, which, as terrible of a restaurant as it is, is very important for crowd flow, and very important as far as being basic theme park food that appeals to the masses.

I'm very rarely a proponent of bringing back old attractions, most of them have been taken out for a reason.

Flight Simulators are VERY low capacity (think Sum of all Thrills) Any plans to combat that?

NO to anything about Universe of Energy. First of all, Soarin' is already over at the land, it doesn't really make any sense to move it, definitely add an extra set of theaters over there though! Great Idea! Energy is the best ride at EPCOT in my mind, update the animatronics, but the message is still very important and pretty much timeless. After all the one source of power that will never run out is human brain power!

In theory your right, but the entire pavilion doesn't have a futuristic concept so it wont stick out like a sore thumb

no not really, the pavilion would really focus on the evolution of aviation, so it would tie in with mission space.... sorta
