.AVI problems

Hi!

I recently downloaded a music video, in the .avi format. i played it in windows media player, and it only played the sound, and i tried to open it in divX, and it says, "the location you selected cannot be located", but the file is definetely there, because like i said - i can play the sound only in windows medai player. any help would be very very much apprecaited!

Sounds like you need the divx codec for mediaplayer. Make sure you have versions 3,4,5 of the divx codec. All of those can be downloaded for free.

You may also download the Nimo codec pack (link at www.vcdhelp.com in tools section). That has helped me play some files.
