Avatar/Signature Size

Did I miss an announcement about avatar and signature sizes? I tried to change both and was told that both were too big. My current avatar is 160 x 160, the pop-up says it has to be 160 x 110. Same with my signature. I always tried to keep it to 5 lines, but now I'm limited to a certain number of characters (200?). Anybody else noticing this change?

Such changes resulted when Steve updated the forum software.

It makes posts easier to read, with smaller avatars and signatures.

Thanks for the info. Before the other day I hadn't tried to change my avatar.
