Autograph drop off not available anymore???

Leaving Monday on our cruise, and I just read on a blog somewhere that DCL no longer allows you to drop off an item, such as a picture frame in our case, with guest services to have autographed by Mickey and crew. We were really hoping to do this as a nice souvenir for our daughter to remember her first time on a Disney cruise, and figured dropping it off would be much easier than having to carry it around with us to get signed by the characters. Can anyone confirm whether or not DCL still lets you do this? Thanks!

Last time I checked, no you cannot.

Sorry they no longer do this. The good thing on the cruise though is that character lines are short not like in the parks. Remember to take your autograph item to Castaway Cay to get special character’s signatures.

Character meet and greets are much better on the boat. You'll have a lot more time and interaction than you would at the parks.
